Gator turns but won t start

Hi.
I have an older 6x4 gator and it was running on idle and all of a sudden it died, turned the key and the starter was going but not the engine. Is there a timing belt maybe or is it dead now?

Gator turns but won t start

but like i said the starter turns but the engine will not do anything, its lihe something came apart iside.

Gator turns but won t start

when the starter turns the engine does not turn. took the plugs out and the pistons do not turn.

Gator turns but won t start

I am not sure if the flywheel turns but the starter turns and the pistons dont go up or down. And when it stopped there wasn't a big noise or anything grinding.Now i turn the key starter turns over but engine does not engage.

yes i agree with you but why did it just quit all of a sudden with no noise or clunking?
